Our Works
At Pangolin Aware, our work is built upon three pillars: scientific research, education outreach, advocacy and building capacity. These pillars represent our core activities and areas of focus. We believe that active collaboration is key to achieving our goals and making a real impact on pangolin conservation. That is why we work closely with partners and stakeholders to carry out our initiatives and spread awareness about the plight of these amazing animals.
Our Pillars
Our work at Pangolin Aware is grounded in three pillars: Scientific Research, Education Outreach, Advocacy and Building Capacity.
We conduct ecology and social science research to better understand the behavior and habitat of pangolins, as well as the social and cultural factors driving their trade and consumption. Additionally, we actively contribute to the development and improvement of translocation programmes. Our research findings inform evidence-based conservation strategies and policy recommendations.
We empower individuals and communities to become agents of change for pangolins and their habitats through our comprehensive education outreach programmes. These initiatives serve as catalysts for raising public awareness and inspiring people of all ages to actively participate in our crucial mission for pangolin protection and conservation.
We engage in advocacy efforts to promote stronger laws and policies that protect pangolins and their habitats, while also collaborating with stakeholders to promote responsible environmental stewardship and build capacity for effective conservation practices.
